This solar electric system located in Clarence New York is one of the most sophisticated solar battery and generator systems installed in this area of western New York!
This system is a 5kw solar powered system with both vertical panels, and roof mounted panels for diversified weather conditions. There is also a battery based grid-tied system and stand alone generator combination!.

Shawn personally, and all the staff at Rochester Solar worked closely with us, keeping us informed at every step of the design process, until we were satisfied that the proposed design met all of our needs.
Shawn then took care of the difficult legwork of obtaining NYSERDA and utility company approval for our system, thus securing the substantial rebate, which eventually amounted to almost 30% of the cost of the installed system.
When the installation work began in late 6/08, I must admit that I did have some trepidation; designing a system on paper is one thing, but installing all the various components and making it all work…well that is quite another. I must say that the electricians and other installation technicians who work under Shawn’s supervision are quite simply first rate. The installation was in fact meticulous, with all wiring being shielded in carefully installed conduit, the panels themselves were mounted in difficult locations on the steeply sloping roof of a tall two-storey house and the inverter control panel in our basement was laid-out beautifully.
